Kenneth Brant is a self-taught artist. Born in 1962 in Buffalo, New York, Ken took to art as soon as he was able to hold a crayon. Throughout his childhood, Ken developed an appreciation for his majestic surroundings. He would often sit in trees for hours with pencil and pad, or sit in a meadow with camera and nature. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Ken's life would be centered upon his passion for art.
Ken is now a professional in his career but aspires to be an artist full-time. He lives in Elmira NY with his wife Tammy, and four dogs, Rocky, Sargeant, Zeus and Molly.
He is currently working on four still lifes representing each of the four seasons, winter, spring, summer, and fall.
He is a member of the Oil Painters of America and is waiting confirmation on having his art-work displayed in the Oil Painters of America National Exhibition in Evergreen Fine Art Gallery, Evergreen Colorado.
